Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. On offer is an archive of three [3] manuscript ledger books from a general store in Dover New Hampshire. The three 'books', all approximately 120 leaves, thusly 240 pages of entries, are handmade, held by string and coverless but complete, folio sized 13"x8" with entries dating from November 1829 through to April 1834. Thousands of entries with names, products or service, price etc. Given that Dover was a natural crossroads for traveland a thriving community area historians and collectors have a wealth of information typifying the economy and commerce in these historical ledgers. The usual stains and ink spots and odd crease to be expected but overall G.. English. Book Condition: Good
